Job Description

We are urgently recruiting compassionate Healthcare Assistants for hospitals, care homes, and healthcare facilities. This role is perfect for those who want to make a real difference to patients' lives. Full training provided, immediate start available, and excellent career progression opportunities into nursing.

As a Healthcare Assistant with Nolvera Staffing, you will provide essential care and support to patients under the supervision of registered nurses. This is a rewarding role where you will help with daily living activities, clinical observations, and emotional support. Whether you are new to healthcare or have experience, we welcome applications and provide comprehensive training.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care preferred but not essential
  • Care Certificate completed or willing to complete (we provide training)
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical fitness for manual handling
  • Flexible availability including weekends
  • Basic understanding of infection control
  • Team player with positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting
Support patients with feeding and drinking
Take and record clinical observations (temperature, pulse, blood pressure)
Assist with patient mobility and safe transfers
Change bed linen and maintain clean patient environment
Support nurses with clinical procedures
Communicate with patients and provide emotional support
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Follow infection control procedures
Report changes in patient condition to nurses
Assist with admission and discharge procedures
Maintain patient dignity and privacy at all times
