Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are currently recruiting experienced Registered Nurses (RGN/RN) for various healthcare facilities across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading NHS trusts, private hospitals, and care homes while maintaining flexible working patterns. You will provide high-quality patient care, working as part of multidisciplinary teams in various clinical settings including medical, surgical, elderly care, and specialist units.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration - essential requirement
  • Minimum 6 months post-registration experience in a relevant clinical setting
  • Enhanced DBS check completed or willing to undergo (we can arrange this)
  • Right to work in the UK with appropriate visa if applicable
  • Evidence of annual statutory and mandatory training completed
  • Professional indemnity insurance coverage (we can advise on obtaining this)
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to different shift patterns
  • Commitment to maintaining continuous professional development
  • Physical fitness for the demands of nursing duties
  • Understanding of infection control and safeguarding procedures

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and protocols
Monitor patient conditions closely and report any changes to senior staff
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and comprehensive patient records
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
Support, supervise, and mentor junior nursing staff and healthcare assistants
Adhere to NMC Code of Conduct and facility-specific policies at all times
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and staff meetings
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers regarding care plans
Maintain infection control standards and implement safe working practices
Respond appropriately to emergency situations and clinical deterioration
Complete documentation including care plans, risk assessments, and incident forms
Participate in handovers ensuring effective communication between shifts
